CLF-AN Actuator

The CLF-AN actuator is a very high force, low frequency actuator that has been designed to provide high displacement output when mounted in a seat with a padded or polyurethane cover. The CLF-AN is designed for operation in the 20 – 80 Hz frequency range. An array of 4 or 6 CLF-AN’s can provide powerful motional low-frequency sensations to emulate rumble, explosive and other low frequency effects, and provided a much more local and immersive effect than a bass shaker.

Impedance: 8.0 ohms nominal, excluding wire length

C-2HDLF Actuator

The C-2HDLF (High Displacement Low Frequency) tactor is a high force actuator that has been designed to provide a strong, localized haptic sensation when mounted in a padded seat or seat back. Operating in the 50 – 160 Hz frequency range, the C-2HDLF bridges the gap between the C2-HD and CLF-AN. Similar in size and weight to the C-2HD, it can be used where low frequency effects are required, but space is limited.

Impedance: 6.5 ohms nominal, excluding wire length

C-2HD Actuator

The C-2HD (High Displacement) tactor is a high force actuator that has been designed to provide a strong, localized haptic sensation when mounted against layers of padding in a seat back or over clothing. The C-2HD is designed for operation in the 160 to 260 Hz frequency range. An array of C2-HD actuators can provide realistic, immersive motional haptic effects to emulate local and dynamic effects such as interactions with electric fields, crawling insects and other rapid motional sensations.

Impedance: 11.0 ohms nominal, excluding wire length

CLF-AK Actuator (Coming Soon)

The CLF-AK actuator is an extremely high force actuator that has been designed to provide high displacement output when mounted in layers of padding (for example a seat). The CLF-AK is designed for operation in the 10 to 70 Hz frequency range.

Impedance: 14.0 ohms nominal, excluding wire length
