HapTrax™

eaiHAPTICS HapTrax software gives your creative team the power to author, refine and test multi-channel haptic sensations to create show-quality fixed and motion based effects. HapTrax provides an intuitive, time-line based workflow that is synchronized with audio and video, and can control up to 16 separate actuator channels. Once the haptic effects are finalized for each scene they can be exported as a set of single-channel wave files (one per haptic channel) to a ride controller.

Features:

• Feel as you develop: With the ability to output to an ASIO device via a Dante Virtual Soundcard, you can play back and experience your haptic creations in real time. Being able to quickly “tweak and play” reduces development time and maximizes creativity.

• Timing and synchronization: With the time-line presentation, and the ability to simultaneously display video and audio content, it is easy to synchronize the haptic effects with the overall experience.

• Use audio-based content: HapTrax has support to import and use audio clips. Use your favorite audio editing software to refine and filter your clips, then import them into HapTrax and map to the haptic time-line.

• Generate tone bursts: HapTrax can directly generate tones that can be placed on the time-line with just a few clicks. Adjust the frequency and amplitude and you’ll have immersive tactile patterns in no time.

• Fades and shifts: For the ultimate in creative control, HapTrax volume filters and envelope controls can be used to create a variety of unique effects, from smooth fades to bone-jarring transitions. Using HapTrax generated tones, you can even create frequency sweeps for enhanced effects.
