Development Seat Pads
The development seat pads are a standalone system used for haptic development and evaluation purposes. These pads can be placed on any seat (even an office chair) and are used to simulate what a final (in-seat) system will feel like.
The pads include 4x CLF-AN actuators in the bottom seat pad and 8x C-2HDLF actuators in the seat back pad for low to mid frequency applications. For higher frequency applications the back pad can include 8x C-2HD actuators or be customized for a combination (4 of each). Each actuator is independently controlled using a 16-channel audio amplifier to produce a wide range of haptic effects.
The eaiHAPTICS development seat pad can produce various motional and organic sensations on various parts of the body.
